Former Liverpool midfielder claims that Mohamed Salah would not get any minutes with Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Since trading Roma for , Salah has been having the best season of his career, breaking records and scoring 37 goals in 42 games so far this season.

Despite of his superb form, Adam believes that Salah will not be leaving Anfield anytime soon, as he will not be able to earn himself a spot in the starting lineup of Real or Barca.

In an interview with talkSPORT, Adam contemplated the Egyptians situation saying, “Where’s he going to go? It’s difficult for him, where does he go? Will he get a game at Real Madrid? Will he get a game at Barcelona? I don’t think he would.”

Liverpool currently stand at the third spot at the Premier League table and the Stoke City midfielder is convinced that they can win the title in the near future.

“They are capable of winning the league, I firmly believe that they are,’ Adam added.

“They’re one or two short. They’ve got Naby Keita coming in over the summer, Emre Can looks like he will go, but if they can get another one or two in I think they can challenge next summer.”

The Reds have a tough upcoming game, as they are set to face league leaders Manchester City in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals on Wednesday.

Yeah, the same crap has been said before he went to Liverpool. Will he play? Blahblah. He’s going to win the Ballon d’Or this year, dude. He won’t have to worry about playing time anywhere if he doesn’t get injured. In fact, I’ve been saying for years that he’s the joint best player in the world next to Messi. People just laughed. Because he isn’t a Brazilian called Mauricio Salinho. His only mistake was going to Chelsea (under Mourinho). If he had went to Liverpool in 2014 people maybe had “spotted” his extremely obvious talent earlier. But even now, clearly the best player in the world at the moment, people live and watch him play in complete denial. Yes, he is better and more crucial than de Bruyne. And no, he shouldn’t go to Barcelona or Real Madrid. Not because he wouldn’t get playing time, but because he’s going to play at the best club in the world with massive opportunities to win every possible title if he just stays at Liverpool.
