Mohamed Salah discusses Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp and Mohamed Abou-Treika

star spoke to beIN Sports on his season and how passionate he always been about football.

Salah explained his relationship with and the chemistry between him and Roberto Firmino. He also revealed that he has been Liverpool since a young age.

”I loved Liverpool since I was a kid. The team’s got a big history and has won every possible record.” He said. “I am happy to be here as it is every player’s dream.”

He praised the German manager, Jurgen Klopp, for helping him settle in since he came to the club and constantly helping him on the pitch.

The Egyptian labled Liverpool as “one of the best eight teams in the world” when asked about the team’s chances of winning the Champions league saymg everything is possible.

beIN’s reporter asked Salah about his favorite goals with the reds, the 25-year-old winger chose his first goal against Southampton in the 12th round of the English Premier League as his first of three choices.

His second choice was his goal against Everton in the 16th round of the league and his third choice was his second goal against Tottenham in the 26th round.

“I loved the game since I was a kid, it is my life. As a child you see your friends and family wathcing it [football] so you dream to be a footballer.”

“Football is the number one sport and we Egyptians love it so much and it was clear from our celebrations after qualifying for the world cup or after winning the African Cup of Nations.”

Commenting on Steven Gerard’s praise of him, the former Roma winger said he is glad to be praised by a legend like him but that he is fully focused on the pitch.

He spoke about the chemistry between him and Roberto Firmino.

“He is a great player and makes a lot of stuff easier for me. Firmino scores and assists a lot and does a lot of work on and off the pitch.” He said. “This is natural since he is Brazilian and they always have world quality in football

Youssef Wael is a massive Al Ahly and Manchester United supporter from Cairo, Egypt. One of the few Egyptians who never really wanted to have a career in football, just played it as a hobby. Wael also played squash for 7 years.
