Klopp still unsure about Salah’s availability against Everton
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says that it is still unclear whether or not Salah will be able to play against Everton this weekend.
Salah became by far Liverpool’s most prolific player this season as he is currently the Premier League top goalscorer with 29 goals and by doing so he broke a series of record on his way.
The Egyptian was voted Champions League player of the week for the third time this season following his great performance during the Reds’ 3-0 over Manchester City on Wednesday. However 52 minutes into the game he suffered a groin injury that might see him miss out on the Everton game on Saturday.
“We tried everything to make him available but there’s still 24 hours to go before we make a decision.” Klopp said
Liverpool will be facing Everton on Saturday in the Merseyside derby, then they will be facing Manchester City in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final next Tuesday.
