Stoke City manager has asserted that he is not worried about ’s recent comments about a possible departure from the club.

Sobhi has spoken to Egyptian channel MBC Masr, where he admitted that he might consider leaving Stoke City after the World Cup.

The former Al Ahly winger has struggled to get enough playing time throughout the season with the Potters and discontinuity of featuring with the team. However, Sobhi started to be thrown into the mix by Lambert as of late.

“I spoke to Ramadan, he did it on TV in Egypt, it was in Arabic, whether it was lost in translation I don’t know, but his English isn’t great,” Lambert said in pre-Tottenham match presser.

“I don’t think the kid’s got any malice in him, or is saying he wants to leave. He’s a big name in Egypt, maybe when he wasn’t playing for Stoke, people there were probably talking about it.I don’t think the lad had actually come out and said he’s looking at his own position. He’s only a kid.”
