OFFICIAL: Saudi Professional League increases quota for foreign players
The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) have allowed up to seven foreign players for every club in the Saudi Professional League starting from next season.
This decision comes 10 months after the SAFF initially increased the quota to six players back in June of 2017.
“The SAFF board have accredited the decision to allow seven foreign players for Saudi Professional League clubs instead of six, starting from next season,” the SAFF confirmed from their official Twitter account.
The SAFF hope to develop the league with these changes as they are set to take place in the start of the new season in August.
