Saudi club president announces the signing of Abdallah El-Said

’s imminent departure from Cairo and Africa giants is a step closer to completion after the move was announced by a president of a club in Saudi Arabia.

Jeddah president Prince Turki Bin Mohamed Al-Faisal has announced the arrival of Egypt international playmaker Abdallah El-Said starting next season.

“Abdallah El-Said will join Al Ahli starting next season. We have finalised the agreement for his arrival to the club but I do not want to give much attention to the issue as we are at the end of the current season. You will see him in Al Ahli colours next season,” Al-Faisal told MBC Action.

El-Said has been in the thick of one of the biggest controversy’s in history of Egyptian football after signing for Al Ahly’s eternal rivals Zamalek. He then went back on his agreement after receiving 40 million Egyptian Pounds in cash from the White Knights upon Turki Al-Sheikh’s intervention to renew his contract with the Red Devils.

Just hours later, El-Said was put up for sale by the club.

Al Ahli Jeddah currently have Egypt international Momen Zakaria on loan among their ranks while former Zamalek left-back Mohamed Abdel-Shafy is away on loan at Al Fateh from the club.
