CAF assign Morocco’s Noureddine El-Jaafari for Al Masry-Mounana clash
Al Masry, the only Egyptian club remaining in the competition, played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg encounter and aim to take advantage of their important away goal to surpass Mounana and secure a spot in the quarter-finals.
Morocco’s Noureddine El-Jaafari will officiate the match that will take place in Portsaid stadium on the 17th of April. El-Jaafari is supposed to arrive at the city of Portsaid by mid next week as confirmed by the Egyptian club.
It is worth mentioning that this will be the third time for the Moroccan referee to officiate a match that includes an Egyptian side after he was assigned to officiate Zamalek’s encounter against Al Ahli Tripoli in the 2017 CAF Champions League and ENPPI’s clash with Africa Sports in the 2017 Confederation Cup.
