Ehab Galal: I will remain Zamalek coach
Zamalek coach Ehab Galal has decided to stay at the helm of the Zamalek job following a meeting with the club officials on Monday evening.
Galal had resigned from his role as Zamalek manager after the team’s 1-0 against Misr El-Makkasa in the final minutes of the game. The Whites president Mortada Mansour declared on Monday morning that Galal’s resignation has been accepted.
Nonetheless, matters have changed and Zamalek held a meeting with the former ENPPI coach, which resulted in him keeping his job.
“I abide by my post until the end of my contract. I am not used to running away from responsibility and I respect all the decisions of the board which entrusted me the team’s job despite the difficult circumstances,” Galal said.
“I pledge to rectify the team’s performance in the coming period. I respect my deal with the club and I am preparing with the players for our upcoming match against Ittihad of Alexandria.”
