Thierry Henry is the only player that was crowned for three times in a row with the Golden Boot and Kane is hoping to catch Salah to equal the record of Arsenal’s legend.

“I still believe I can,” Kane said. “Look, whatever happens, there are still games to go. I’ve got to focus on my game. I can’t control what he does.

“Obviously as a striker, it would be great to win the Golden Boot again and I will keep working hard from now until the end of the season.”

Christian Eriksen fired a free-kick last weekend that gave Spurs victory against Stoke City and even though Kane claims he touched the ball, the goal was awarded to the midfielder.
