OFFICIAL: Mortada Mansour accepts Ehab Galal’s resignation
Ehab Galal recently revealed that he will be leaving Zamalek after his side lost to Misr El-Makkasa in the Egyptian Premier League, despite being in charge of the Whites since only last January.
However, Galal’s agent Tamer El-Nahas recently said that the 50-year-old coach decided to withdraw his resignation.
“I said before that Ehab Galal should submit his resignation to the financial committee head, but I accepted his resignation after he announced it to the media,” Mortada Mansour said in a press conference on Monday.
Galal’s team lost to each of Al Ahly, Al Masry, Ismaily, Misr El-Makkasa, and Welayta Dicha twice. They also dropped points against Entag El-Harby and ENPPI. He won seven out of 14 league games.
“I do not acknowledge what Tamer El-Nahas said. I am warning Galal and ask him to not challenge the lion,” he concluded.
