Mohamed Salah trains with Liverpool ahead of Manchester City clash
Salah sustained an injury at the beginning the second half of the first leg against Manchester City in the Champions League, the game where the Egypt international opened the scoring for his side and assisted another in a 3-0 win.
The 25-year-old’s groin issue caused him to miss the Merseyside derby against Everton on Saturday. Jurgen Klopp confirmed that the Liverpool star trained with fitness coaches during the weekend.
Salah joined training with the rest of the team today at Melwood ahead of their second Champions League clash against Man City; however, Liverpool Jurgen Klopp said that he will have to wait and see if Salah suffers any reaction on Tuesday.
The former Roma winger is one of the club’s key players as he scored 29 goals so far this season in the Premier League, which makes him an essential part of the team’s attack.
