Ali Gabr thrashed 5-1 by Brighton in the U23 game
Ali Gabr played from the start for the U23 team in Premier League Two as WBA suffered a humiliating 5-1 loss to Brighton at Falmer Stadium.
West Bromwich Albion’s U23 team featured a number of first team players, including Gabr, Nacer Chadli, Oliver Burke and the rising Jonathan Leko.
However, the Baggies bowed down in shame against Brighton, as the Seagulls fired five goals past the vistors, while Robbie McCourt scored the only goal for the visitors.
Gabr has not played a single minute for the first team, and after conceding five goals, it is only less likely that he will book his place for the first team next to Ahmed Hegazi till the end of the season.
