Omar Gaber returns to LAFC training sessions
Los Angeles Football Club announced the return of Egypt international Omar Gaber to the team’s training sessions after he recovered from his recent injury.
Hector Cuper and his staff were worried after Omar Gaber picked up an injury during Egypt’s friendly with Greece in March which the Pharaohs lost 1-0, as the player has a record of injuries.
However, his new club announced on Tuesday that Gaber returned normally to full training. News that delighted the team’s head coach Bob Bradley.
“Gaber is a talented player that is going to make a difference for our team,” he said after the Egyptian player returned.
The 26-year-old is one of three Egyptian players who will ply their trade in MLS this season, with compatriots Aly Ghazal representing Vancouver Whitecaps and Amro Tarek playing for Orlando City FC.
