Kasimpasa activate Mahmoud Trezeguet’s release clause
Turkish side Kasimpasa have triggered the release clause in Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet’s contract to seal the services of the player on a permanent basis from Anderlecht.
After an impressive debut season in Turkey, which saw Trezeguet break his own goal scoring record in a single season, Kasimpasa decided to activate his 2.5m Euros release clause, according to KingFut sources.
After moving to the Süper Lig team from Belgian side Anderlecht on loan, the 23-year-old winger earned himself a regular starting spot and has been an indispensable asset for the Turkish side, as he netted 13 goals and handed five assists in 28 appearances in all competitions.
The Egypt international had joined Anderlecht from Cairo giants Al Ahly in 2015 on loan, before making the move permanent the next year. He then had loan stints at Royal Excel Mouscron and Kasimpasa.
Kasimpasa currently sit ninth on the Super Lig table with 37 points after 29 games. They’ll next face Kardemir Karabükspor who sit at the bottom of the table on Saturday.
