The Egypt international was voted the Player of the Round after his impressive performance against AEK Athens and his goal in that game was voted the Goal of the Round.

Warda has expressed delight and relief after receiving these awards, saying: “I wanted to score a lot in this match, because of what I have experienced a few days ago.

“I really love Atromitos. It has helped me a lot this year to achieve what I have achieved so far. Wherever I continue my career, I will always have them in my heart, I will support them.

“There are four more matches left with my team and I have to stay focused on them. Then I will be joining my country’s national team for the World Cup,” said Warda regarding his future.

The former Panetolikos player has also spoken about their upcoming game against 10th-placed Panathinaikos, saying: “It’s sad for a team like Panathinaikos to be in this situation. But we have to do our job and go to claim the victory as we did in previous games.”
