Klopp: I don’t doubt Harry Kane

Liverpool manager has admitted that he doesn’t doubt Tottenham striker over the Spurs’ second goal against Stoke City, which was awarded to the England international.

Kane had claimed that he got on the end of Christian Eriksen’s cross which resorted in Jack Butland’s net in Tottenham’s 2-1 win over Stoke, and the Premier League consolidated that claim by voting in Kane’s favour by giving him the credit for the goal.

“I don’t doubt Harry Kane even a little bit. And Mo is the same kind of person. If you score a goal, you score a goal,” Klopp said in a press conference.

“I’m still not sure who scored a goal against Maribor in the Champions League but I saw both Roberto [Firmino] and Mo celebrate. I know Harry, he’s fantastic player and looks like a good guy, too. Strikers are different, they have to be. This was not an obvious goal but if he felt it, he felt it.”

After the Premier League’s decision, Kane has reached 25 goals in the league this season which makes him four goals far from Salah who has 29 goals to date.
