Roma’s Alisson: It will be beautiful to meet Salah again
AS Roma have been drawn against Liverpool in the Champions League semi-finals after the Italian side produced a historic comeback as they beat Barcelona 3-0 to qualify on away goals after they had lost the first leg 4-1 at Camp Nou.
The draw meant that Mohamed Salah will return to the Stadio Olimpico for the second leg after spending two seasons at the Italian club.
And Alisson, who played alongside the Egyptian for only one season at Roma, is happy that Salah is returning back to Roma next month.
“It will be beautiful to meet Salah again, we all love him and Firmino is also a friend of mine. Though we have to worry about everyone [at Liverpool], their attack is too strong,” Alisson told Sky Italia.
Salah moved to Liverpool from AS Roma last summer for a fee around €42m and has been in scintillating form this season, scoring 39 goals while assisting 11 in 44 games.
The first leg will take place at Anfield on either April 24 or 25 before the Premier League side travel to play the second leg at Stadio Olimpico on May 1 or 2.
