Abdallah El-Said makes debut in Kuopion Palloseura defeat to Ilves
Egypt international Abdallah El-Said made his debut in Finland’s Veikkausliiga as his side Kuopion Palloseura lost 2-1 to Ilves in Matchday two.
The former Al Ahly playmaker, who recently joined Kuopion Palloseura on a two-month loan deal until the Fifa World Cup, featured for 90 minutes but failed to help his team collect any points from the game.
Rasmus Karjalainen scored the opener for KuPS 10 minutes after kick-off. El-Said’s side were able to maintain their lead for exactly 25 minutes as Ilves’ Cameroonian forward Marius Noubissi was able to equal the score.
Noubissi completed Ilves’ comeback in the 79th minute scoring the second goal which helped secure the win for his club.
KuPS will be facing, second-placed Rovaniemen Palloseura in the next round on Wednesday, 18th of April. The team is currently in the 10th place with 1 points gained from two matches.
