El-Badry confirms he agreed a new contract with Al Ahly
Al Ahly boss Hossam El-Badry has said that he agreed a new deal to remain at the helm of the first team beyond this season.
El-Badry had returned to Al Ahly for a third coaching spell in August 2016 and has claimed two league titles, one Egypt Cup trophy and Egyptian Super Cup accolade a year-and-a-half into his third stint.
The 58-year-old’s contract expires with Al Ahly by the end of this season, but he assured that agreed with the Red Devils president Mahmoud El-Khatib to renew his agreement with the club.
“I have been informed by captain Mahmoud El-Khatib that the club’s desire is to keep me on the head of the technical staff during our meeting in UAE,” El-Badry told Al Ahly official website.
El-Badry stated that he hasn’t discussed any personal terms whether financial or anything else with Al Ahly and that the priority is to reinforce the team.
