Ramadan El-Sayed resigns from Ragaa job after Al-Nasr loss

manager has resigned from his job as team manager after the team’s loss against Al-Nasr in the 32nd round of the Egyptian Premier League.

The Marsa Matrouh based club sit 17th in the relegation zone, with 26 points and became one step closer to demotion after losing 3-1 from Al-Nasr.

El-Sayed admitted the difficult mission of getting the team out of the danger zone after taking charge of it mid-season.

“I took charge of the team in the 16th round of the league and we had only eight points, we collected 17 points so far and that is an achievement.” He told Onsport satellite channel. “It was hard to work on developing our attacking and defense and creating chemistry between our new signings in January.”

“I would like to thank the club’s board headed by Saad Abo Sandouk and I resign two rounds before the league is finished,” El-Sayed concluded.

Youssef Wael is a massive Al Ahly and Manchester United supporter from Cairo, Egypt. One of the few Egyptians who never really wanted to have a career in football, just played it as a hobby. Wael also played squash for 7 years.
