Agent: Omar El-Said close to Al Ahly
The agent of Wadi Degla striker Omar El-Said, Amir El-Marakby, revealed that his client is close to joining Al Ahly starting from next season.
Omar El-Said started the 2017/2018 season in the ranks of Entag El Harby, were he starred for the team and was the top scorer of the Egyptian Premier League with 11 goals in the first half of the season, before transferring to Wadi Degla in the January window scoring just two goals to date in the second half.
“Wadi Degla was in deep need for El-Said, that’s why they signed him from Entag El Harby in agreement with Al Ahly, who wanted to sign the player,” El-Marakby told Sada El Balad channel.
“There is a clause in El-Said’s contract that concerns Al Ahly, which cites that he should join the Red Devils with a transfer fee that have already been agreed. Any other club that want him has to negotiate the fee.”
“Last meeting [with Al Ahly] took place three weeks ago and negotiations are in progress in order to define the deal. Everything will be clear after the end of the season. He is very different to Walid Azarou and he doesn’t fear the competition at Al Ahly,” he concluded.
