Roberto Firmino believes Salah among the best three players in the world

Liverpool forward has highly praised his teammate for his tremendous performance this season, ranking him among the best three players in the world.

Salah is arguably living the best season of his career, where he scored 40 goals and assisted other 13 in all competitions. The Egypt star has also become the first African player to score 30 goals in a single Premier League season, beating the record held by Didier Drogba.

Firmino’s season is also nothing short of fantastic with 25 goals and 14 assists to his name this term.

Salah is nominated for the PFA Player of the Year award along with Kevin De Bruyne, Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero, David De Gea, Leroy Sane and David Silva and he is entering being the favourite to clinch the individual silverware.

“I don’t know if he [Salah] will win it, but he deserves it. He is an outstanding player who’s living a great season,” Firmino told

The 26-year-old striker said that Salah has to be among the three finalists for the upcoming Ballon d’Or award.

“Salah has a great technique, he is very skillful and always finds the way for goal,” he added.
