Roma right back Bruno Peres has revealed that Greek defender is still in contact with their former player and has warned him to remain calm ahead of their Champions League encounter nex week.

With the Champions League semi final fast approaching, one of the key narratives in the build up has been that of Mohamed Salah returning to face the club where he made more appearances than for any other club in his career.

In a post match interview following Roma’s 3-0 win over SPAL, Brazilian right back Bruno Peres revealed that Salah is still in contact with some members of the Roma squad. In particular, the hero of the quarter finals Kostas Manolas is still in communication with the Egyptian.

The 28 year old said “Manolas is the one who often speaks with Salah within the team. He warned him to remain calm otherwise he will receive some blows.”

While Manolas is heavily involved in the defence, it is more likely that will be more directly against Salah as he is the only left footed centre back in and around the starting lineup.

The match takes place on Tuesday the 24th of April at Anfield, before the second leg in Italy on the 2nd of May.

    Remain calm or take blows?
I think the right thing to do is to score 10000000 goals on that bum defense Roma has.

Remain calm or receive blows? What kind of strategy is this? I hope UEFA is informed about these comments just so the referees keep an eye out a bit more just in order to even things out.
