Arsenal revealed the extent of Egypt’s after the player had to leave the pitch on a stretcher as his team thrashed West Ham United 4-1.

Arsene Wenger was forced to substitute Mohamed Elneny 10 minutes before halftime following a wrong landing by the midfielder on his left ankle.

“The Arsenal medical staff do not think Elneny’s injury is serious at all,” Sky Sports reporter Geoff Shreeves confirmed. “No serious damage had been done.”
