Egypt’s talked about playing in the next Club World Cup with Al-Ain after lifting the league trophy and how national team coach helped him.

The 26-year-old joined the Emirati giants from Miss Al-Makkasa during the January transfer window and has proved very efficient for his new side. He scored eight goals and provided 12 assists in just 14 games across all competitions with Al-Ain.

After winning the UAE Arabian Gulf League title with his new side he will be participating in the 2018 Club World Cup as it will take in the UAE.

“Wait for my participation in the Club World Cup with Al Ain. I want to win the treble, the league, the cup and the AFC Champions League,” El-Shahat told DMC sport TV channel.

“I went to the last national team camp while injured but I want to prove myself and get the call-up for the last camp before the World Cup,” he added.

“The way Héctor Cúper interacted with me made me very happy, he gives every player an opportunity and he tries to convey his style of play to the newcomers in the simplest way possible,”

“Héctor Cúper doesn’t differentiate the old players and the new ones for him we are all the same and that shows his worth,” he concluded.

Al-Ain will be facing Al Ahli in their next game in the UAE President’s Cup semi-final and this can be considered as their first step in trying to win the treble.
