The Egyptian football agent Nader Shawky has dismissed claims that Al Ahly have opened negotiations to sign back Stoke City attacking midfielder from Stoke City.

Sobhi’s name has been linked to Al Ahly recently after the Red Devils manager Hossam El-Badry openly admitted he would like to have the 21-year-old winger back in his squad.

Shawky also looks after the interests of Al Ahly striker , and confirmed that the veteran striker won’t be playing for Al Ahly’s arch-rivals Zamalek.

“I heard these rumors in media [Ramadan’s return to Al Ahly] but there are no negotiations with Al Ahly. It might be Al Ahly’s desire to bring him back but it hasn’t gone further than that,” Shawky told a local radio station.

“A contact have never taken please between El-Badry and Ramadan.”

“Emad Meteb will not play for Zamalek, this is a certain thing. He still does not to retire now. Maybe after a season or two, during this period we have many proposals but he will not continue with Al Taawoun.”
