Salah knows his game against Roma will be an emotional one

recalls his time in Rome ahead of ’s fixture with La Magica and the Egyptians declares will be emotional for himself and the Roma fans.

Last season Salah formed with Edin Dzeko the best attacking force for the Giallorossi in the past 80 years, on Tuesday he will go head to head with the players he spent two years with in Serie A.

“I played for Roma for two years, I had a great time with the club, with the fans, I fought for the club and now I have to play against them.

“We text each other, as players, every week – we’re still good friends.

“I’m very excited to go there and I love the fans, they love me, [there are] more emotions.

“I hope we are going to win but also I wish them good luck.”

Liverpool has a chance of winning the Champions League this season, they are actually only three games away from winning the prestigious trophy and Salah believes it will be magical scenario.

“It’s something huge if you win the Champions League for a club like Liverpool.

“It’s something different for us as players, for the city, for the fans, for everyone, I am sure we will fight for that 100 per cent.”

Salah fired eight goals in the competition, the second best record after Ronaldo this year. The Egyptian has also scored against two of his former teams Chelsea and Fiorentina, making Roma a very possible prey at the Anfield stadium.
