Liverpool’s English full back has hailed praise for his side’s attacking trio after their impressive performance against AS Roma on Tuesday.

Mohamed Salah was the star of the show after scoring two first half goals before assisting and successively in the second half for Liverpool’s third and fourth goals.

Firimino scored his second of the night later to complete the Reds thrilling victory over Salah’s former teammates and edge closer to UEFA Champions League final.

Alexander-Arnold is a teenage talent that replaced the injured Nathaniel Clyne down the right flank of the Reds, and has managed to fire the first goal for the team in the Champions League qualifiers.

“I’ve never played with a front three like that before. I’m not sure if any of the other lads have,” Arnold told Liverpool official website.

“We all step out onto the pitch confident that at least one of them – if not all of them – are going to score. We have confidence and they have that confidence within themselves,”

With 88 goals between the trio this season, Alexander-Aronld believes the players’ work outside the pitch has been the reason behind their recent form, claiming it is boasting the whole’s team confidence against their opponents.

“If you look at their numbers this season, it’s incredible and a credit to them because they’ve worked hard for it. The confidence flows throughout the whole team,”

“It has been like that a few times now, in the Champions League especially. We’re running away with the result quite early; once we get the first one, it’s quite hard to stop the flow of the goals. That’s credit to the whole team,”
