Salah is perfectly capable of playing for Real, says ex Real Madrid assistant coach
Former Spain national team assistant coach Toni Grande believes Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has what it takes to play for La Liga giants Real Madrid.
Since completing his move to the Premier League side from Serie A club AS Roma in the 2017 summer transfer window, Salah scored a total of 43 goals in all competitions. The 25-year-old is leading the Golden Boot race with 31 goals, five ahead of second-placed Harry Kane.
“Salah is perfectly capable of playing for Real Madrid,” Grande said in an interview with Radio MARCA.
“He’s at this good age where he has six or seven extraordinary years in him,” the assistant coach of the South Korean national team added.
The 70-year-old, who held the assistant coach position at Real Madrid between 1997 and 2003, also compared Salah to the likes of Neymar and Robert Lewandowski.
