Carlos Carvalhal comments on Mohamed Salah’s possible resting

Swansea boss has spoken candidly regarding the resting of Mohamed Salah in the upcoming league fixture against Stoke on Saturday and that he wont mind if he didn’t see him on the pitch.

Salah has been on top level performance scoring a brace against former side AS Roma and assisting 2 others with the match ending 5-2 to Liverpool in the first leg of their champions league semifinals.The Egyptian forward however could be rested ahead when Liverpool host relegation-threatened Stoke City.

Carvalhal, whose side are four points clear from Stoke City, is confident that Liverpool will be as competitive as possible and that Klopp’s men don’t depend solely on Salah. “Liverpool is not just about Salah. They can win without him, he is fantastic, surely the player of the season but they do not depend on one player, it is about there dynamic and shape.”

Swansea sit four points above Stoke City in 17th place and have a game in hand, but if stoke surprise a changed Liverpool side,then the pressure would certainly mount on Carvalhal who will face Chelsea later that day.

“We don’t look at others, we depend on us. Even after the games of others this weekend, it will depend on us,” he added.

Liverpool vs Stoke takes place at 1:30PM Egyptian time this Saturday, while Carvalhal’s Swansea host Chelsea four hours later.
