Pharaohs Abroad Roundup: El-Said features in KuPS draw

KingFut rounds up the Pharaohs Abroad action this week to keep you up to date with Egyptian players overseas.

– Aston Villa (England)

April 28 – EFL Championship – Ahmed Elmohamady played the full 90 minutes as Aston Villa drew 1-1 with Derby County in the 45th fixture of the Championship. Following the draw, Villa sit fourth with 83 points and are set to face Millwall on May 6.

– Wigan Athletic (England)

April 28 – League One – Sam Morsy played the full 90 minutes as Wigan drew 1-1 with AFC Wimbledon in the 45th fixture of the English League One. Following the draw, Wigan top the league table with 95 points and are set to face Doncaster Rovers on May 5.

Ahmed Hassan ‘Kouka’ – SC Braga (Portugal)

April 29 – Primeira Liga – Ahmed Hassan ‘Kouka’ was excluded from the squad as Braga defeated Belenenses 1-0 in the 32nd fixture of the Portuguese Primeira Liga. Following the win, Braga sit fourth with 74 points and are set to face Boavista on May 4.

– Atromitos (Greece)

April 29 – Superleague Greece – Amr Warda was subbed off during injury time as Atromitos earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Levadiakos in matchday 29 of the Greek Super league. Felipe Bruno netted the winning goal for the Athens-based side in the 87th minute. They now sit fourth place ahead of their last league game of the season with Kerkyra on May 6.

– KuPS (Finland)

April 29 – Veikkausliiga – Abdallah El-Said played the 90 minutes as KuPS were held to a 1-1 draw by FC Lahti in gameweek six, ending their two-match winning streak. They now sit third on the league table with eight points and will next face SJK on May 3.

– HJK (Finland)

April 29 – Veikkausliiga – Amr Gamal came on as a substitute in the 74th minute as HJK claimed a 2-1 away win over VPS in gameweek six. They are now second on the league table with 13 points, three behind leaders RoPS. They’ll next face FC Lahti on May 3.
