thanked the fans as he revealed that his dispute with the Egyptian Football Association () is expected to be resolved.

KingFut had exclusively revealed earlier this week that Salah’s lawyers plan to take action against the EFA, after the latter used the player’s image on the Egypt team plane.

Earlier on Sunday, Salah took to Twitter to express his disappointment towards the way the issue was handled by the EFA, saying it was very insulting. The player’s tweet garnered support from many of his followers, who created #IStandWithSalah hashtag.

Following a wave of criticism on social media platforms from fans of the 25-year-old player, Egypt Sports Minister Khaled Abdel-Aziz announced he’ll intervene to resolve the issue.

Soon after, Salah thanked the fans in another tweet, reassuring them that the issue is expected to be resolved. “I thank everyone for their support today. The reaction was extraordinary and I’m very happy with it. We’re promised that the issue will be resolved. Thanks again,” Salah tweeted.
