Mohamed Salah nominated for Liverpool Player, Goal of the season awards

Egypt international has been nominated for Liverpool Player of the Season as well as the club’s Goal of the Season award.

Salah has been having an incredible debut season at Anfield, scoring 43 goals while providing 15 assists in 47 games across all competitions.

His form saw him winning the PFA Player of the Year award, as well as earning the praise from a number of footballing legends, including PeleFrancesco TottiRabah Madjer, and Ian Wright.

He also managed to win the club’s Player of the Month award six times this season, losing it only twice to Dejan Lovren and Roberto Firmino and he can add two individual awards to his name after being nominated for the Player and Goal of the Season awards.

The Player of the Season award could go to any player, as 24 names have been shortlisted for it, including Salah, Mane, Roberto Firmino, Andy Robertson, and Virgil van Dijk.

Meanwhile, ten goals have been shortlisted for the Goal of the Season award, with Mohamed Salah netting five of them.

His first goal against Soke City back in November and his curler in the Merseyside derby in December have shortlisted.

The long-range hit against Manchester City, the impressive solo goal against Tottenham, as well as his ridiculous strike against Roma in the Champions League have been also nominated for the award.
