Al Ahly have suffered two successive domestic defeats for the first time since 2015 and Hossam El Badry’s hopes of breaking all records in the are slowly demolishing.

The season is not wrapping up well from Al Ahly and their coach El Badry after they managed to reach a number of historic records.

With 27 league wins this season, the Red Devils have managed to score 73 goals more than any side has ever managed to score in the league, beating the record of Tersana with 71.

After the two defeats in the last four days, Al Ahly have now lost for two consecutive games for the first time since June 2016, when they lost to Al Masry in the league and Zesco United in the CAF Champions League . While their last two defeats domestic in a row were November/December 2015 when they lost to Makkasa and Smouha in the Premier League.

However, Al Ahly still have a chance to record the most points in a single season if they managed to triumph over Al Masry late this May.

The current record is held by Zamalek who have managed to collect 87 points, while Al Ahly need the three points to reach 88 points and write another record in the books.
