Roma goalkeeper Becker has praised Liverpool forward ahead of their second leg encounter in the Champions League semifinal, conveying that he is unstoppable at the moment.

Liverpool will enter the second leg clash against Roma maintaining a good 5-2 advantage at Anfield Stadium, the game where Salah starred for the Reds beating Alisson in two occasions and assisting other two goals.

“How to stop Salah? It is difficult. He has an innate talent and now has an incredible confidence in himself,” Alisson told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Liverpool have a collective quality. They do not give any reference points and this annoys the opponents a lot. This will require teamwork and not just defense.”

The former Roma wideman has 43 goals in 47 games in all competitions this season and was tipped by several experts and former footballers for the Ballon d’Or for his showings, and the Brazil goalkeeper was no different from that camp.

“Messi is the best player I have played against, but now Momo [Salah] is feared as much as the Argentine. With the season he is having he can compete for Ballon d’Or or at least arrive among the top 3, even if it will be decided after the Champions League final and especially after the World Cup.”
