Zamalek announce squad for Egypt Cup tie against Entag El-Harby

Zamalek coach Khaled Galal has named the squad that will be taking on Entag El-Harby in the quarterfinal of on Wednesday.

Zamalek will endeavor to maintain their momentum following defeating Al Ahly 2-1 in Cairo derby in the Egyptian Premier League when they line up against Entag.

The Whites will be deprived of the services of Ahmed Madbouly and Emad Fathi due to injury, in addition to the team’s playmaker Mohamed Ibrahim who remains suspended by the club’s technical staff and board of directors.

Nana Poku, Hazem Emam and Mohamed El-Shamy miss out on the squad due to a technical decision.

Zamalek squad:

Goalkeepers: Mahmoud Gennesh, Amr Salah

Defenders: Hamdy Nagguez, Mahmoud El-Wensh, Mahmoud Alaa, Mohamed Abdel-Ghany, Ahmed Aboul-Fotouh

Midfielders: Tarek Hamed, Mahmoud Abdel-Aziz, Moruf Youssef, Mahmoud Dunga, Ahmed Tawfik, Mohamed Antar, Ayman Hefny, Abdallah Gomaa, Youssef Obama

Strikers: Kabongo Kasongo, Bassem Morsy.

The winner between Zamalek and Entag El-Harby will face Ismaily in the domestic cup competition’s semifinal.
