Roma show support to former player Salah after Champions League exit
Liverpool booked a place in the Champions League final for the first time since 2007 and will face Real Madrid in Kiev following their hard fought aggregate victory over Roma with 7-6.
Nevertheless, the defeat did not prohibit Roma from directing a high-class message to their former winger Salah after the final whistle.
“It hurts so much that Roma’s incredible dream of going all the way to Kiev is over but you’ll be there in your new colours. Good luck in the Champions League final Salah,” Roma’s account posted on Twitter.

The Egypt international presented Roma for two years from 2015 to 2017 where he appeared for the capital club in 83 games, scoring 34 goals and assisting 24 others.
Salah made history by his qualification to the Champions League final as he become the first Egyptian player ever to reach that stage of Europe’s most prestigious club competition.
