Zamalek announce squad for Ismaily Egypt Cup clash

Zamalek temporary manager Khaled Galal announced the 21-man squad to face Ismaily in the semi-final on Monday.

Zamalek will be looking to continue their winning streak and reach the Egypt Cup final to try and win their first trophy of the season.

The squad saw the return of defender Mohamed Magdy, midfielder Mohamed Ashraf “Rouka” and Ghanaian striker Nana Poku. However goalkeeper Mahmoud Abdel Rahim “Gennesh” and Ahmed Abou El-Fotouh are not included due to suspension.

Hazem Emam and Eslam Gamal are still excluded from the squad for technical reasons.

Zamalek squad:

Goalkeepers: Omar Salah, Mahmoud Abdel-Monsef

Defenders: Hamdy Nagguez, Mahmoud Hamdy “El-Wensh”, Mahmoud Alaa, Mohamed Abdel-Ghany, Mohamed Magdy

Midfielders: Tarek Hamed, Mahmoud Abdel-Aziz, Moruf Youssef, Mahmoud “Dunga”, Ahmed Tawfik,

Mohamed Antar, Ayman Hefny, Mohamed Ashraf “Rouka”, AbdAallah Gomaa

Forwards: Kabongo Kasongo, Bassem Morsy, Nana Poku

The winner of this game will face the winner of the Smouha and Al Assiouty game in the Egypt Cup final.
