Trezeguet’s brace, hat-trick of assists leads Kasimpasa to 5-2 win over Trabzonspor

Trezeguet scored two goals and assisted three as Kasimpasa earned a 5-2 away win against fifth-placed on Saturday.

Kasimpasa took the lead just after the 10-minute mark when Mbaye Diagne headed Trezeguet’s beautiful cross into the back of the net. A few minutes later, Filip Novak equalised for the hosts after being played in by Burak Yilmaz.

In the 22nd minute, Trezeguet put Kasimpasa in the lead again after tapping in the rebound from a Bernard Mensah free kick, which was cleared poorly by Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.

Just before half time, Mensah scored the third from a cool shot in the box after being teed up by the Egyptian winger who looked in form.

Three minutes after the break, Filip Novak pulled one back for Trabzonspor to make it 3-2 for Kasimpasa. The Egyptian winger scored another goal but was ruled out for offside.

The 23-year-old winger got his name on the scoresheet once again as he scored a beauty for Kasimpasa. The Egyptian curled the ball from the edge of the area with the outside of the boot in the top corner.

In the 74th minute, Trezeguet completed his hat-trick of assists as he set up Diagne for Kasimpasa’s fifth goal. Five minutes later, Okay Yokuslu from Trabzonspor received a straight red card.

The hosts were reduced to nine men as Tomas Hubocan was also sent off in the closing minutes of the match which meant that Trabzonspor played the last few minutes with no center backs as they’ve both been awarded red cards.

In the 89th minute, Trezeguet was subbed off for Samuel Eduok after a terrific performance that saw him get involved in all five goals for his team today.

Trezeguet currently has 13 goals and six assists in the league. Kasimpasa, who currently sit ninth on the league table, will face Genclerbirligi next Sunday their final home match this season.
