Ismaily announce squad for Zamalek Egypt Cup encounter



Ismaily head coach Pedro Barny announced his 20-man squad that will face Zamalek in semi-final match which will take place on Monday at Borg El Arab stadium in Alexandria.

Colombian striker Diego Calderon returned to the squad as he recovered from an injury that kept him sidelined for a month, while Islam Abdelnaim was excluded because of his injury.

Ismaily progressed to the semi-finals after overcoming Arab Contractors and now aim to eliminate the White Knights to get closer to winning their third Cup title.

Barny decided to also exclude Ahmed Dowidar and Malian Moussa Camara for technical reasons and Omar El-Wahsh did not make it to the list as he was suspended by the board until the end of the season.

Ismaily squad:

Goalkeepers: Mohamed Awad, Mohamed Magdy, Mohamed Fawzy

Defenders: Bahaa Magdy, Mahmoud El-Metwaly, Richard Bafor, Mohamed Hashem, Baher El-Mohamady

Midfielders: Hosny Abd-Rabo, Emad Hamdy, Mohamed Fathy, Ibrahim Abdel-Khalek, Karim Bambo, Nader Ramadan, Ibrahim Hassan, Wagih Abdel-Hakim, Mohamed El-Sadek, Thomas Abbey

Forwards: Shokry Naguib, Diego Calderon
