Salah wins Liverpool Players’ Player of the Season award

has collected the Players’ Player of the Season award at the Players’ Awards ceremony on Thursday.

The Egypt international, who collected the Liverpool Player of the Month award seven times during the the 2017/18 campaign, added another award to his personal trophy collection.

He was named the Players’ Player of the Season at the club’s end-of-season awards ceremony after beating off competition from Roberto Firmino and Trent Alexander-Arnold. The 25-year-old was handed the award by Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.

Salah has put in impressive performances in his debut season at Liverpool, scoring 43 goals in 50 appearances across all competitions and collecting a host of prizes including the PFA Player of the Year and the Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year award.

He’ll now focus on his team’s final league game on May 13 against Brighton before playing against Real Madrid in the Champions League final on May 26.
