winger spoke about his time in Turkey, the possibility of returning to Belgium and Kasımpaşa manager Kemal Ozdes.

The Kasımpaşa star joined the Turkish side from Belgian giants Anderlecht on a one-year loan. He contributed 19 goals for his team this season, scoring 16 and assisting eight in all competitions with the Super Lig 9th-place holders.

Trezeguet revealed that he doesn’t want to return to Belgium, saying that he is happier in Turkey.

“I am very happy at Kasımpaşa. I do not want to go back to Belgium. I want to stay where I am happy. Our team and my teammates also have a significant share in that. Because our manager always trusts us and supports us and gives us freedom on the field. These are very important things to me,” Trezeguet told Turkish website Haberturk.

“There is trust and confidence between us. So I am happy to play here and I prefer to stay at Kasımpaşa.”

He praised the team’s manager Kemal Ozdes, describing how good he is and the trust he shares with the Turkish gaffer.

“Kemal is a really good coach. He keeps pushing me to show my talent. If your manager does not push you or if he doesn’t believe in you, no matter how talented you are, things won’t work. This can happen to some players. However, Kemal gives me the opportunity to show my abilities. So I think he’s a very good coach for the team,” the 23-year-old said.

The winger spoke about the difference between the Turkish and Belgium leagues explaining why he believes the former is better.

“The Turkish League is quite nice. I have played in Belgium and this is certainly more difficult. There are more famous names playing here than those playing in Belgium, and there are also very good players in the teams we have encountered.

“Apart from the teams themselves, there are very clever coaches. Players from Turkey can play comfrotably in to Germany or England. This is due to the quality of this league and because it’s a difficult league,” he added.

Trezeguet said that the English Premier League and German Bundesliga are also good leagues but he believes that playing there isn’t a good move for him, saying that it is important to play for a team that needs him.
