Salah’s agent provides update on Liverpool future amid Real Madrid rumors
Mohamed Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas has admitted several clubs have enquired about his client, but revealed that the Egyptian is happy at Liverpool.
Mohamed Salah’s form for Liverpool this season has been extraordinary, as the Egyptian managed to score 43 goals as well as assisting 15 times in 50 games.
He also guided Liverpool to their first Champions League final in 11 years, where they will face holders Real Madrid in Kiev on May 26.
“Wouldn’t it be weird if I wasn’t getting calls about him? I won’t lie, of course, I am,” Ramy Abbas told Anfield Edition.
“But, that’s because he is the biggest prized asset in world football right now.”
The 25-year-old has been linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid, but his agent has dismissed the speculation, insisting that Salah is “happy” at Liverpool.
“Mo is very happy at Liverpool. He feels that he is enjoying his best time there,” Ramy added.
“For the time being, he is focused solely on Liverpool and winning titles with them.”
Mohamed Salah has also revealed that he is not considering leaving the Merseyside club anytime soon, despite major interest from European big clubs.
Liverpool’s next game will be against Brighton at Anfield and the Reds need just one point to ensure a top-four finish ahead of Chelsea, who will face Newcastle United at the St James’ Park.
