Salah, who scored the opener in ’s 4-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion, set a new Premier League record for the highest number of goals by one player in a single 38-game campaign.

The 25-year-old is the first African player to win the Golden Boot since Ivory Coast icon Didier Drogba, who won the award on two occasions in 2006/07 and 2009/10.
