Liverpool’s fullback was full of praise for after he wrote history with his goal against Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Pharaoh bagged 32 goals this season, beating Harry Kane with two goals to claim the Golden Boot in his first season with the Reds.

The Scottish defender shared a few thoughts on how Salah shocked the world with his virtuoso displays.

“He has been different class all season. He deserves all the plaudits he’s getting.

“He could have probably had two or three but I’m sure he’ll be happy with one. Credit to him and long may it continue for us.”

Like Salah, Robertson was enjoying his first season with Liverpool as the 24-year-old signed for the Red giants from Hull City last summer.

The no 26 himself scored his first goal for his new club, last Sunday on the final fixture of the Premier League.

Liverpool’s remaining tie this season is the Champions League final against Real Madrid on May 26, something the whole Anfield family is excited about according to Robertson.

“We’ll be ready. We’ve got a long two weeks; we’ll be in the best possible shape and we look forward to seeing what we can do.”
