Maaloul, Nagguez named in Tunisia’s World Cup provisional squad
Tunisia have qualified to their first World Cup competition since 2006 and their campaign in Russia will be their fifth appearance in the world’s most prestigious tournament.
Al Ahly left back Ali Maaloul and Zamalek defender Hamdy Nagguez has been included in a 29-man squad called by the Eagles of Carthage’s manager Nabil Maaloul.
Nonetheless, the former Esperance coach will be deprived from the services of talented playmaker Youssef Msakni and striker Taha Khenissi in his World Cup course.
