Petrojet sign former Al Ahly striker and the Liberian Ronaldinho
With hopes they will make a more impressive campaign than their last, Petrojet have signed two new strikers to get their front-line machine well-oiled.
Former Al Ahly and Wadi Degla striker Ahmed Raouf has completed his move to Petrojet for one season in a free transfer after his contract with Wadi Degla came to an end.
Petrojet’s board of directors has also successfully secured the services of striker Patrick Wleh, known as the Liberian Ronaldinho, in a free transfer for two seasons.
Wleh has been directly involved in 10 goals for his former side PKNS FC in the Liberian Super League with eight goals and two assists.
Coach Tarek Yahya, the club’s sporting director, and the players’ agents were all present during the contract signing.
Petrojet ended the league in 12th position, scoring only 32 goals, which pushed the club to sign new forwards hoping they will unleash enough goals to lead the team to a better standing next season.
