Sparta Prague U-21 coach praises Hamdy Abdelkader

Sparta Prague U-21 manager has expressed his delight with the performance of Egyptian youngster in his side’s comfortable 4-1 win against FK Pribram.

The 18-year-old joined the Czech side from Egyptian giants Al-Ahly during the last January transfer window. He nearly joined Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb and he also had a trial period with FC Basel.

Abdelkader scored the second goal in Sparta Prague’s handy win over FK Pribram, with this triumph Sparta were allowed to certify their position in the sixth place of the U-21 Czech league table.

“I have seen great determination from the players. We changed our formation to the double pivot midfield and it paid off. I am very pleased with the performances of Hamdy,” Horňák told Sparta Prague’s official website.

“We want to win the remaining matches and finish the season with as many points as possible.”
