Former Egypt striker Ahmed Hossam “Mido” tweeted that he believes Ramos intentionally injured Salah during the UEFA Champion’s League Final.

The ex-Zamalek man took to Twitter while the match was ongoing, stating that “Anyone that understands football would know that Ramos injured Salah intentionally.”

The injury ended up causing Salah to have to come off in the 30th minute, and there are serious concerns about his availability for Egypt at the World Cup.

Mido continued on Twitter, adding that, “Any player in the world would’ve released his arm but Ramos held onto his arm and spun with it.”

Earlier, the Egyptian Football Association released a statement regarding Salah’s injury. Liverpool lost the final 3-1 as Real Madrid secured their third consecutive Champion’s League trophy.

Haha good for you Egyptians. You were the reason Ghana did not qualify for World Cup and now your star player will be out

That’s brutal. Where’s the love for your African brethren. You lost fair and square. Egypt didn’t make the draw.

It’s fun to read the comments of these salty people here. Egypt is still in the WC and not Ghana. Liverpool was still in the final and not Man City or Roma. Just keep hating. Eventhough Salah lost the final but he still managed to break records this year and to win some (personal) trophies. We’re proud of Salah and the best is yet to come!!!

I hope Mido never again suggests that Salah should join Real.
