The injury helped the Spanish giants claim the title after goals from Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale saw them win 3-1 at the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kiev, Ukraine.

Karim Benzema opened the scoreline after capitalising on Loris Karius’ howler, however, Sadio Mane made it 1-1 only four minutes later, as he slotted home past Keylor Navas.

A moment of magic from substitute Gareth Bale put Real Madrid back in front, before the Welshman scored the winning goal after another mistake from Karius.
